Mind Matters Surrey is only able to support those over the age of 18.
If you are under the age of 18 you can still get help via Mindsight Surrey CAMHS, the health and social care partnership for children and young people with mental ill-health and learning disabilities living in Surrey.
- Referrals can be made by all health, social care and education practitioners.
- All children and young people need to be registered with a GP in Surrey to be referred to Mindsight Surrey CAMHS

If you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation, you can call 111, make an urgent appointment with your GP or you can call the Mental Health Crisis Helpline: 0800 915 4644.
This a telephone service offering support to anyone in Surrey and North East Hampshire experiencing a mental health crisis. Lines are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. You don’t need to book an appointment and calls are free of charge.
Your call will be answered by one of our trained call handlers who are experienced in working with people with mental ill-health. They will help you access the support you may need. This may involve speaking to a qualified mental health practitioner such as a social worker or occupational therapist.

CYP Safe Havens
The CYP Havens offer a safe place for 10-18 year olds to talk about their worries and mental health in a confidential, friendly and supportive environment.
At each of the CYP Havens you will need to press a button or bell to enter. A member of the team will let you in to a child and young person friendly space inside. There are lots of places to have a confidential chat, as well as opportunities to take part in group activities such as crafts. There are facilities for you to get a drink too if you would like one!
